Ruth Davies Blues Band at Copperfield's Books (san Rafael)

The Ruth Davies Blues Band features Grammy-winning Davies on bass, along with keyboardist Steve Willis, drummer Bobby Cochran, and guitarist Bob Welsh. Davies toured with Charles Brown for 10 years and has recorded with such musicians as Van Morrison, Bonnie Raitt, and John Lee Hooker.

Jazz in the Neighborhood has partnered with Copperfield's Books for this free concert series at Copperfield's bookstores in Healdsburg, San Rafael, Santa Rosa, and Novato. Renowned jazz musicians will share the stage with aspiring young players from local schools to carry on the jazz tradition of “learning on the bandstand.”
